The exhibition "Orthodox churches of Russia" opened in the homeland of the painter Automatic translate
KNITTING. On October 29, the exhibition hall of the regional Union of Artists presented a personal exhibition of paintings by Alexei Rychkov, called “Orthodox Churches of Russia”. The project was organized thanks to the initiative put forward by the Ryazan Museum of Travelers.
The organizers did not choose the opening day of the exhibition - the project is dedicated to the celebration of the 1025th anniversary of the baptism of Russia and is dedicated to the Day of National Unity. Alexei Rychkov is a native of Ryazan, who successfully graduated from the St. Petersburg Academy of Painting. V. Mukhina. His works are in museum and private collections.
A considerable number of spectators gathered at the opening of the exhibition, among whom were Rychkov’s relatives and friends, who had remembered him since childhood. The opening of the exhibition was also attended by Vitaly Artyomov, the head of the Ryazan administration, who studied with the artist at the same school.
The name of the exhibition determines the composition of the exhibition with great accuracy - the canvases included in it depict the types of masterpieces of temple architecture located in seventeen Russian cities. After reading the accompanying articles next to each picture, the viewer gets the opportunity to find out detailed information about the monuments of Orthodox culture depicted in canvases.
Since the exhibition is open in Ryazan, the central place in the exhibition was occupied by canvases with views of the Kremlin and the landscape, on which you can see another shrine of the land of Ryazan - St. John the Theological Monastery.
All the canvases of Alexei Rychkov that made up the exhibition are part of the collection of a collector from Sochi, Viktor Shirokikh. Thanks to the efforts of the collector, a mobile project is being implemented, introducing the work of the painter to the inhabitants of various Russian cities. The exhibition will be in Ryazan until November 13th.
