The East European Antique House invites you to the unique exhibition “Pictures of Old Masters from the Collection of Vasily Goryaschenko”. 25 masterpieces of the collection will be exhibited from November 17 to November 27, 2013 at the address: Lomonosovsky Prospect, 29, building 1, Moscow.
The entire collection, which consists of 140 works, will be exhibited for only three days. From November 30 to December 1 from 11.00 - 19.00 - in the Estate of the Muravyov Apostles at the address: Moscow, st. Old Basmannaya, d. 23/9, p. 1.
For the first time, masterpieces of the museum level of the Dutch, Flemish, Italian painting schools of the 16th – 17th centuries will be presented. from the largest collection of Russian collectors.
The paintings from this collection are well known to specialists, a significant part of which have been repeatedly published in domestic and foreign scientific literature, as well as catalogs of various exhibitions. In particular, many paintings collected by the collector were included in the representative exposition “Portraits of Collectors. Russian and Western European art from private collections in Moscow ”, carried out as part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts Pushkin in the spring of 2012. A large group of works was also presented as part of the large-scale project “Small Dutch”. 17th Century Dutch Painting ”, realized in the halls of the Central House of Artists in Moscow under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands as part of the events of the Year of Dutch Culture in Russia in October 2013.
