KRASNOYARSK. A unique project was prepared in the Krasnoyarsk branch of the Russian Academy of Arts. More than eighty works of painting were collected in a single exhibition space, devoting this exhibition to the appearance of the most honorable award in the art world - People’s Artist of the Russian Federation.

The decree on establishing a high rank this year turned 70 years old. The exhibition, which appeared before the Krasnoyarsk residents, had been preparing for a long time - it took only a year and a half to discuss the project, and another year to organize it directly. Many people were involved in the implementation of the grandiose project - from private collectors and art galleries to public and state structures.

The result of the work done was the opening exhibition. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that the exposition of the exhibition includes works, all of whose authors are awarded the title “People’s Artist of the Russian Federation”. Each of the authors represented has different views on art, works in different styles, but combines their highest skill.

The works collected at the exhibition arrived in Krasnoyarsk from various Siberian cities. Although solid interregional exhibitions in the city are not uncommon, such a large-scale project has been prepared for the first time. The whole color of the masters of pictorial, graphic and sculptural art working in the vast Siberian region made this exhibition truly unique. Unfortunately, there is no hall in the city where monumental canvases could be shown.

The exhibition, called "Folk Artists of Russia in Siberia" is open until October 8th. You can see the masterpieces created by Siberian artists only in Krasnoyarsk. It is not possible to transport an exhibition created with such difficulties in the region.
