The exhibition is dedicated to the fiftieth anniversary of the artist’s creative activity, however, this year Alexander Zibarovsky, who lived all his life in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, noted another round date - he was seventy years old.

The exhibition exposition presents about 80 paintings written by the artist from 1965 to the present. Among the paintings are a large number of portraits of city residents, as well as world-famous personalities. A lot of genre paintings and self-portraits painted in different years.

The organizers of the exhibition selected paintings in such a way that you can trace the entire path of creativity of Alexander Zibarovsky. Looking around the exposition, you can see that a considerable part of them is devoted to the war.

According to the artist, the military theme is close to him, since his father was a participant in the Patriotic War. At first, my father’s stories were a source of inspiration, and later films. If the film impressed the painter, then he became the impetus for the appearance of plot paintings on military topics.
