Kazan Gallery of Modern Art has opened four exhibitions at once Automatic translate
KAZAN. As part of the Cultural Universiade held in Kazan, on July 5, four exhibitions began to work in the Gallery of Modern Art, covering various topics and genres of art.
The most voluminous is the exhibition, which presents works by contemporary artists of the Tatar Republic on historical subjects. The authors of these paintings, starting from the eighties of the last century, were actively searching for their artistic language that could reveal the history of a long time past. The foundation for their self-expression was not only medieval Eastern art, but also Russian and European classical works of painting.
The next exhibition presents the work of the association of artists of the Tamga group, representing the style of ethnic avant-garde. The group united Bashkir, Tatar and Chuvash painters. In the works of the leader of the group, Khamza Sharipov, reality is represented by a set of characters, with the help of which a narration of eternal life values is conducted. His colleague, Rustem Shamsutov, in his canvases represents the nomadic world of distant ancestors, the faces of warriors, landscapes and carriages.
The organizers of the third exhibition presented photographs devoted to sports topics. All the works that made up the exhibition were made by well-known photographers of the Republic of Tatarstan. Kazan Grafcom, an informal creative association that has existed for more than two years, presented their work at the exhibition completing the project, as if summing up the results of their work over the past time. The team put up three collective projects and about 55 separate graphic works.
The exhibition project, bringing together the best masters of Tatarstan, is open until August 15th.
