The famous storyteller Hoffmann devoted two exhibitions in Kaliningrad Automatic translate
KALININGRAD. The regional art museum decided to remind residents of the city about the famous fellow countryman, the most mysterious storyteller E. T. A. Hoffmann. The exhibition “Free the Nutcracker”, which opened last month, dedicated to the most famous of the fairy tales written by the writer, continues to work, and a new meeting awaits the citizens.
Since April 12, two exhibitions devoted to the work of Hoffmann begin to receive visitors at once. A single exhibition space, designed by the organizers of the exhibition in the form of a maze, will acquaint viewers with the work of young artists taking their first steps in the world of creativity.
Young creators presented more than two hundred of their works to participate in the exhibition "Hoffmann’s Country". Among them, besides painting and graphic works, there are also samples of decorative and applied art. Initially, the plans of Valentina Pokladova, who oversees the exhibition, provided for the participation of children living in the Kaliningrad region.
Obviously, the ability of Hoffmann to unite people became the reason that the work of artists from Belarus and the USA appeared in the exhibition. The variety of works participating in the exhibition is amazing - watercolors and collages, author’s dolls and embroidery, works created with an unusual mixture of techniques.
The unusual exhibition space, uniting different generations, contained the second exhibition - “Here is Hoffmann”. This name was given to the collection of her works by Honored Artist of Russia Nelly Petrovna Smirnyagina, including thirty-one works in it. All of them are made in various techniques - painting, graphics and batik. Nelly Petrovna has a solid work experience, has taken part in more than two hundred exhibitions.
The magical world of Hoffmann is available to viewers until May 20th.
