Obtaining an art education became an opportunity to continue the path that his father, Vadim Grigoryevich Makarevich, who received a profession at the institute, years later graduated from Makarevich Jr. Vadim Makarevich worked as a senior architect of the construction and design organization of the capital, as a graphic artist.

Throughout his life, he never had a single solo exhibition, although he worked a lot as an artist. Vadim Makarevich kept all his work at home, occasionally showed it to friends, gave some work as a gift. There wasn’t much difference for him than drawing. Everything was used - from pencil and coal to gouache and tempera. It was from him that Makarevich Jr. inherited his love for painting.

Andrei Makarevich in his artistic work tries himself in various qualities. He draws up books, writes paintings, engraves and paints porcelain. At the exhibition, Andrei shows only new works written on handmade paper that he brought from his foreign trip to the small country of Bhutan.

The exhibition of two artists - Vadim Makarevich, who passed away in 1996, and his son, Andrei Makarevich, runs until April 2.
