In Lutsk observe the "Double Horizon" of modern painting Automatic translate
LUTSK. Since February 27, the Double Horizon exhibition has been taking place in the Ukrainian city of Lutsk, which is an attempt by contemporary artists to engage in dialogue with the public and build a bridge between high culture and needlework.
You can visit the exposition until March 18 at the Art Gallery. It presents the works of such artists as Anton Varga, Yuri Biley, Sergey Radkevich, Sergey Torbinov, Anatoly Taranenko, Stanislav Turina and the Open Group of Young Artists.
In fact, the Double Horizon exhibition is the result of a long stay by artists at the GRANNY HALL residence in October 2012. There, artists first had the opportunity to undergo a comprehensive "advanced training", get acquainted with modern European areas of painting, exchange experiences, hone technique. And then - create your own projects and show them to the public.
As a result, we observe an exhibition that has become the result of a grandiose experiment - deliberate immersion of artists in the most harsh aspects of reality, and also restricting the scope of creative manifestation to the strict boundaries of space.
Isolated from the world, they pursued the goal - to speak in a clear language, about the high. How much they succeeded, the residents of Lutsk will be able to see firsthand.
