Art groups raged in the Zverev Center Automatic translate
MOSCOW. Moscow continues to surprise with non-standard art exhibitions. On February 22, the Zverev art center became a meeting place for several groups of contemporary artists who rallied around a central theme - the isolation of a creative person from reality, or rather, the degree of immersion in the space of imagination and inconsistency in everyday life.
The artists who took part in the creation of the exposition were divided into two fairly spontaneous groups: “Art-Ikota” and “Pygmies”. Which had to demonstrate radically different worldviews, life goals and lifestyle, tearing modern society into conflicting parties.
Such a specific topic required an original title. The exhibition “Blow your nose to saury” considers the creative process as a kind of disease. The brain, as if arising from the artist, occasionally turning into worthy works of art, and most often becoming dirt on a white canvas.
It is not for nothing that many artists are haunted by the fear of “messing up the paper”, which fetters creative impulses and subordinates the need to polish the technique and keep abreast of all the trends of contemporary art! The exposition was composed of the works of more than three dozen artists who proposed to the public for consideration their paintings, drawings, sculptures and interactive works. The exhibition will last only until February 24, so Muscovites do not have much time to appreciate the whole pathos of the event!
