Artist Alexander Ivakhnenko celebrated his anniversary with an exhibition in Bryansk Automatic translate
BRYANSK. The city exhibition hall invites you to visit an art exhibition dedicated to the anniversary of the member of the Union of Artists, Alexander Mikhailovich Ivakhnenko. Together with works representing Alexander’s work in various genres of painting and applied art, his works, made in the technique of batik and watercolor, will be shown by his wife, Lyubov Timofeevna Ivakhnenko, who is also a member of the Union of Artists.
Visitors to the exhibition will see landscapes, genre scenes, portraits and still lifes painted by Alexander Ivakhnenko. The artist constantly communicates with nature, without parting with the sketchbook and colors, so his landscapes, revealing to the audience the dim beauty of the Bryansk region and Belarus, enjoy well-deserved success.
Art lovers note the skill of Ivakhnenko in the portraits he painted. Especially often the portraits of his work are made in various graphic techniques - most often Alexander paints with pastel, but also uses charcoal and a pencil. Sometimes an artist uses mixed media. Presented at the exhibition are Alexander Ivakhnenko’s works of carving in the marquetry technique, the original wooden mosaic, which requires tremendous skill.
Alexander Mikhailovich has been participating in exhibitions since 1976. Over the years, the artist’s paintings have adorned the collections of many museums.
The artist’s wife, Lyubov Timofeevna supplemented the exhibition with her watercolors and works using the technique of cold batik. Her compositions have a pronounced decorative effect, but at the same time include a plot content. The largest number of its plot compositions is associated with the architecture of ancient Russian cities.
You can get acquainted with the works of artists until February 10th.
