In 1990, for six whole years, he went to live in Greece, and when he returned, he brought back hundreds of paintings from there.
In the last decade of his life, Mikhail Arkhangelsky began to use a more expressive and expressive author’s style. In his work, abstract works appeared, plastic metaphors were used. In the second half of the nineties, the artist wrote such works as “Life is worse than Shakespeare”, “Envy”. There are works that have become a response to the cataclysms occurring in the country.
