Artist Tatyana Potvorova and her solar paintings in St. Petersburg Automatic translate
The association of free St. Petersburg artists in its gallery "S.P.A.S.", located in St. Petersburg, on the Moika Embankment, represents the work of a young artist from Belarus Tatyana Potvorova. The artist’s paintings, which are gaining more and more popularity, can be seen from December 11 at the exhibition, which received a name that fully corresponds to the content of its exposition.
“On the sunny side” is the artist’s state of mind, which allows him to see the world around him in a positive sense of it. In Tatyana Potvorova’s paintings, this ability to admire makes it possible to create works filled with the sun, full of joy. The artist’s paintings generously give visitors an exhibition, sparkling with bunnies on the canvases dedicated to Yalta and Koktebel, a sense of freshness and spaciousness in the landscapes painted in native Belarus.
Art critics, sharing the impressions left by Tatyana Potvorova’s canvases, say that her painting technique is composed of techniques used by French and Russian impressionists who worked at the beginning of the last century. For visitors to the exhibition “On the Sunny Side”, people who are mostly far from the theory of painting, the main thing is the opportunity to get positive emotions, add bright colors of summer, which lives on the paintings of the Belarusian artist, to gray everyday life.
Tatyana Potvorova in 2008 graduated from Brest University, where she studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts. He works as a restoration artist in the Brest Regional Museum. In her creative luggage there are several solo exhibitions in Belarus and two in German cities.
In St. Petersburg, the exhibition "On the Sunny Side" is available to viewers on January 12.
