The month of Dagestan art started in Moscow Automatic translate
The Moscow art center Umlyaut continues the presentation of exhibitions included in the program of the month of modern Dagestan art. The aim of the project is to acquaint the residents of the capital with the characteristic features of the work of 4 Dagestan artists - Ibragim-Khalil Supyanov, Timur Musaev-Kagan, Khasbulat Yusupov and Marat Hajiyev.
The first exhibition aroused wide public interest and was held from December 4 to 10, where visitors had the opportunity to delve into the works of Timur Musaev-Kagan, who is known not only for his artistic talents, but also for deep philosophical and esoteric knowledge.
On December 11, the opening of the second exhibition of the cycle took place, the focus of which was the figure of Ibrahim-Khalil Supyanovo, an outstanding master of Dagestan art. The exposition was made up of the best paintings and graphic works of different years. Of particular interest are such vivid and emotionally rich works as “The Names of Allah”, “Theses”, “Foot”, “Stones”, etc.
The artist directs all his creative power to discovering the image of God, to reflect on the fate of people and the need to fulfill his destiny. In addition, it should be noted that the artist embarked on a creative path for a reason. In childhood, he had to describe the world for a blind father, but a simple verbal description was not enough for him to understand. Therefore, the artist began to invent his own world, color ordinary events with his emotions and create unique paintings based on them.
The artist’s works are presented not only in museums in Dagestan, but also in private collections of European collectors. Therefore, Muscovites should not miss their chance to "see clearly", because the exhibition will last only a week.
