Museum A.S. Pushkin introduces the unique work of Valentina Deopik Automatic translate
The State Museum of A.S. Pushkin in the exhibition halls located on the Arbat on November 2 opened the exhibition of Valentina Deopik, a surprisingly bright artist and unique person. Unfortunately, the name of Valentina Pavlovna Deopik did not receive enough fame, her work was not deservedly deserved attention in the country, but almost everyone knew her among Moscow artists.
Critics, characterizing the artist’s creativity, call it picturesque realism, in which simplicity and racyness, richness of colors are simultaneously present. Valentina Deopik received an art education in Moscow, in the famous VKHUTEMAS, where one of her teachers was the master of painting A.A. Deineka.
Many connoisseurs of painting are still perplexed - why are the works of a talented artist so little known to the audience? At first, her work did not fit into the "traditional framework", and later Valentina Pavlovna did not consider it necessary to spend her time on achieving popularity. She participated in collective exhibitions regularly, 2-3 times a year of her work, if desired, could be seen. But personal exhibitions did not happen during the artist’s life.
Friends and relatives of Valentina Deopik prepared the show for the current exhibition, dedicating it to its anniversary - 105 years since the birth. The exposition of the exhibition was more than 50 works written in various genres. Among them are a small number of landscapes, portraits, still lifes. A special place is occupied by a series of works performed in a wide variety of techniques. In Pushkin’s theme, the artist’s creative search is obvious. In any experiment of Valentina Pavlovna, Pushkin is always present. The exhibition, open until December 2, presents the most interesting Pushkin works.
