October 31 at the Kiev center of contemporary art "Mystetsky Arsenal" the opening of the annual cultural forum ART KYIV took place. The forum, which runs until November 18, was attended by exhibition galleries in Russia, Poland, France, Germany, Italy and, of course, the host country. During this time, professionals and the general public have the opportunity to get acquainted with 30 large-scale projects. The program for ART KYIV has been developed very carefully and includes: exhibitions, conferences, round tables, thematic discussions, showing documentaries and, of course, lectures from leading cultural scientists of our time.

Foreign partners will be able to evaluate the contribution of Ukrainians to modern culture according to the presented painting project “The Latest Ukrainian Figurative”, which collects vivid works of diverse artists.

The Russians demonstrate the “X. Ten” project, which consists of 80 works that have never been exhibited anywhere and were created over the past decade.

The project “Creativity and Myth of Victor Vasarely” shares Hungary with Ukraine. This artist earned his worldwide vocation by founding the art direction of op-art, which influenced not design and architecture.

Italians and French represent their countries with sculptural compositions, video art, and painting. A characteristic feature of which is a fairly strong influence on contemporary artists of folk art.
