Artist Vladimir Lyubarov presents his new works in the capital Automatic translate

The State Theater Museum named after Bakhrushin in its branch - a gallery located in Moscow, on Malaya Ordynka Street, presents the exhibition of the famous artist Vladimir Lyubarov "House of Culture". Work on this cycle began in the nineties, when the metropolitan artist Vladimir Lyubarov, who had already gained fame as an illustrator, who had accounted for more than a hundred books by famous authors, spent eleven years as the chief artist of the popular science magazine Chemistry and Life, decided radically change your life.

Lyubarov bought a house in a village located in the Vladimir region, whose name is "Peremilovo", which eventually became the general name of a series of works by the artist, and its residents saw their images on the canvases of the painter.

Unexpectedly for the artist himself, his new works began to enjoy success in Western countries, in France, Germany and several other countries, exhibitions of "pictures from Russian life" were organized. On the basis of this series in the UK, a book edition of Russian Proverbs was published, which was then reprinted in the United States.

Then, Lyubarov’s new works, written in the traditions of Russian lubok, were noticed and appreciated in the artist’s homeland. Over the past fifteen years, his solo exhibitions have been held at many popular exhibition venues in Russia, including the Central House of Artists. Cloths Lyubarova evoke different feelings from the audience. Some consider them sad, others - cheerful, uniting in one - the artist treats his heroes with kindness.
