Honored Artist of Russia V. Snytko opened his exhibition in Vladivostok Automatic translate
In the gallery located in the Primorsky House of Artists of the city of Vladivostok, a personal exhibition of the honored Russian artist Vladimir Antonovich Snytko has opened. Long before the opening, connoisseurs of the artist’s work came to the gallery to express gratitude to the master for his work, congratulate him on the award that was presented at the opening of the exhibition, and once again plunge into the beautiful world of his paintings.
The artist himself presented the exhibition to visitors, briefly telling about the history of many of his works. Most of the paintings by Vladimir Snytko were painted after trips by the artist around the country. Some landscapes were painted from nature, and those of them that were painted within the walls of the workshop were the result of numerous sketches made by the artist during his travels in the north of the country, along Primorye and Central Asia.
The result of two creative expeditions along the Golden Ring of Russia was a cycle of landscapes in which the artist displayed on the canvases ancient Russian architectural monuments - monasteries and churches of Vladimir and Suzdal, Pskov and Yaroslavl. This series of paintings called “Temples of Russia” became the exposition of the anniversary exhibition of Snytko dedicated to his seventieth birthday, and also visited the exhibition in Seattle (USA).
The artist did not leave without attention the sights of Vladivostok. Among the paintings in the exhibition hall, the spring mood stands out through the light-pierced landscape with a view of the city’s pride - the Golden Bridge. The same mood in the landscape with a view of the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The exhibition exhibits plot and historical canvases, as well as wonderful still lifes.
You can get acquainted with the retrospective of the work of Vladimir Snytko until October 17th.
