In this small town, the artist received the basics of art education. Then she studied at the Penza Art College, and in the year of graduation, Sayda Afonina entered the Russian Academy of Painting, and after graduating, she began teaching there.

After graduate school, the artist received the title "Associate Professor of Painting". Since 1995, S. Afonina actively participated in various exhibitions held in Moscow and other Russian cities. Her works were successful at solo exhibitions of the artist, for which popular exhibition venues in Moscow and the region were provided.

Having four daughters, Saida often paints their portraits, which is why a childish theme is given an important place in her work. In the children’s portraits painted by the artist, the brightest sides of the world of childhood are displayed. Thanks to this, the canvases of Sayda Afonina shine with kindness and tenderness.
