Screen inks for optical discs of all formats
Screen printing on CD and DVD. As musical media and digital memory keepers in the field of mass media, CD, CD-ROM, CD-R and DVD prevailed. It is a growing market worldwide.
Today, printing on CDs and DVDs using screen printing uses exclusively UV-curable inks. And we recommend using the following series of colors. Ultradisc UVCD - High gloss UV curable paints. The color palette is supplemented by opaque white and black, raster paints (CMYK), fluorescent shades, bronze pastes, CD-R kits and other special materials.
Brief characteristics:
• Very high print speed - 90 cycles / min.
• Bright and rich in color base colors.
• Saturation with pigment.
• Guaranteed accurate color blending with PANTONE.
• Inclusion of basic colors in the Marabu program - ColorManader (MSM), which will allow you to easily create any shade needed for work.
• Prevention of leakage through the screen due to the viscosity of the ink when the machine is stopped.
New Ultradisc UVOD Series - for printing on CD, CD-ROM, CD-R / RW and DVD. It can be printed both directly on polycarbonate and on surfaces coated with protective varnish. Since most protective varnishes are subject to subsequent curing, print Ultradisc UVOD on the varnished surface as soon as possible. We recommend that you conduct preliminary tests for the compatibility of protective varnish and printing ink. High-gloss ink with good adhesion, its viscosity allows you to print at a speed of 100 d / min and does not allow ink to leak through the open parts of the stencil. Excellent print speed for any print run. This series, like UVCD, includes 3 process sets, basic shades and special effects.
Printing on textiles using Marabu inks
When printing on textiles using the screen printing method for imagination, there are no boundaries, whether we are talking about the design of industrial products or stunning clothing. The list of fabrics on which it is possible to use the screen printing method is long: from marquises and sun umbrellas to sports bags, cases for rackets, t-shirts and jackets. Depending on the product and the purpose of its application, various requirements are imposed on paints. A series of water-based and solvent-based paints are used in this area. For this printing, we recommend using the solvent-based Maraflor TC series and the water-based Texacool TCS series. These are two-component wash and boil-resistant paints with good adhesion, pigment saturated for high light resistance (long-term use in the open air) for example on marquises, on polyamide (nylon).
We also recommend the use of a series of paints in this area. Texaprint TXT is a one-component water-based paint that does not have an expiration date after opening the can. After fixing, it is resistant to washing up to 60 ° C, ideal for use with heat fixation on cotton and melange fabrics. We also recommend Textil - Deckweib TX 170 high-hiding white paint with exceptional hiding power on dark surfaces. Tampon paints are widely used in various fields, such as industrial marking on household appliances, decoration of toys, on representative products - lighters, pens, ashtrays, corks, office supplies, etc.
For bright and expressive advertising, we recommend the following paint series: Tampastar TPR; Tampaplus TPP. A diverse range of applications, simple processing and the presence of a bright color palette and special effects - all meet the highest requirements.
These paints without heavy metals in accordance with DIN EN 71 have chemical and mechanical resistance, which guarantees a long service life.
Printing on medical devices
In the field of labeling of medical devices, safety remains the main criterion. Some of these products are used, for example, in operating rooms. Medical devices include glasses and hearing aids, which also use pad printing. Inks for pad printing are classified according to DIN EN 71, part 3, and are resistant to sterilization. Recommended paint series: Tampastar TPR; Tampapur TPU; Maraprop PP and GL glass paint.
Printing on sports products
The field of sporting goods is so large, individual and diverse that each project here should be considered separately. The main requirements are high mechanical and chemical stability, very often high hiding power and gloss, as well as a large color palette with a variety of color effects. For design, the pad printing method is often used, since most often we are talking about volumetric objects. Recommended paint series: Tampaplus TPL; Tampastar TPR; Tampatech TPT; Tampapur TPU; Tampacure TPC. Printing on glass and ceramics
Glass and ceramic products do not always require the quality of ceramic high-temperature dyes. For decorating glass and ceramics, we propose the use of solvent-based paint systems, which are highly resistant to filled substances and scratches, as well as partially resistant to washing in dishwashers. We recommend a series of paints: GL glass paint; Tampatech TPT; Tampapur TPU.
