Julia Blinova. Artist. New ideas. Automatic translate
On the pages of the Internet project Gallerix.ru appeared a wonderful artist, teacher and wonderful person Julia Blinova. We decided to interview and introduce our readers to a talented artist.
Sergey Fateev : Your recent exhibition was in a gallery on Chistye Prudy at the Business Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. When to expect the next exhibition?
Julia Blinova : Yes, at the end of spring I had a personal exhibition. It was even extended. There were many visitors and the organizers made this decision. The next exhibition is planned for this fall. Most likely it will be in November.
Sergey Fateev : You work a lot and exhibit. How do you find the time?
Julia Blinova : How do I find the time? I also teach. I realized that I needed it. When they turned to me at exhibitions.
Sergey Fateev : How do your paintings appear?
Julia Blinova : My main inspiration is life and books. It is interesting for me to find inspiration in the books I read, in the nature that surrounds me, in the faces of people. Topics that concern me arise, as I said from everyday life, from images when reading books. And when it all adds up. So my work appears. When I paint nature or portrait or still life, I see the image and try to convey my feelings and feelings to the canvas. I try to convey with my feelings the essence of objects and characters of people. I seek a balance between what I saw and my own feeling, my own imagination. The image that has arisen tells me in what manner to create a picture, which color to choose, the style of execution, the material, the size, which techniques to choose.
Sergey Fateev : What are your favorite genres?
Julia Blinova : I’m interested in everything! If you look, I have portraits and still lifes and landscapes. I am attracted to a genre portrait with many people. There you can reveal different characters. Line up the dramaturgy of the plot. Work on such paintings gives me and, I hope, the future viewer an understanding of this dramaturgy. When transmitting the image, I think about stylization, ornamentation, about large generalizations and flattening of forms. At the same time, a prerequisite for me is to convey a realistic perception of objects. So that the viewer understands that this is a man, and these are trees, and this is a table and there is a kettle on it.
Sergey Fateev : What materials are your favorite?
Julia Blinova : Of course this is tempera, pastel, acrylic. I have a mixed technique. This allows me to convey the saturation of the tone, the subtlety of the valera, the velvety texture, the thrill of the lines. But lately has been fond of oil. Everything has its own charm.
Sergey Fateev : Julia, did you mention what you teach?
Julia Blinova : Yes, I have my own training program for my program. It provides an individual approach to each of my students. I work individually in my classes and this brings good results.
