The award ceremony became an original performance, where the plot and characters of the famous fairy tale were used. The main roles in it were played by well-known artists leading the ceremony. Nonna Grishaeva appeared in the guise of a princess, and Grigory Siyatvinda was the Moor, who appeared on the scene as her fiancé, who categorically did not like the friends of his chosen one.

The princess’s friends were nominees who appeared on the stage during the award ceremony. The first prize was a special prize intended for Yuri Lyubimov, the famous director who created Taganka. The award for many years of valiant service to the theater was given to the director’s wife, since Lyubimov himself was not present at the ceremony.

The best performance was the production of Kama Ginkas - "Lady Macbeth of our county." For the performance of the main role in it, the title of best actress was awarded to Elizabeth Boyarskaya. The best actor was named Evgeny Mironov. This title was received for the artist’s work in the play “Hamlet. Collage ”staged at the Theater of Nations.

For the play "Dead Souls" received an award Kirill Serebrennikov - he became the best director of the season. The award in the nomination “Best Debut” was presented to the actor of RAMT Maxim Kerin, and “Best Scenography” - to Maria Mitrofanova for her work in the production of “Giants of the Mountain” by “Pyotr Fomenko Workshop”.
