Only after his death a dozen years later he won fame and his canvases were sold like nuts on the market. And at auctions his paintings are already being sold for tens of millions of dollars. Did van Gogh thought about such a success? I think not. Well, maybe he dreamed. We should thank those who did not let these canvases disappear into oblivion, after the departure of a genius.

This canvas is one of the most striking. On a green background among the dark green leaves, there are rosebuds of pale pink roses. And there is not much pink in them, just a few strokes. The buds are unfolded not all, moreover, there are already wilted buds, but this does not make the canvas not beautiful. Surprisingly there is nothing so fancy - just a bouquet that stands in a vase. Bright saturated green background does not drown out the roses, on the contrary, somehow even moves it forward so that we can admire them to the full.

Many are always plagued by the same question: how could such paintings be ignored? In principle, there is an answer. His reputation, or rather his illness, is to blame. He was a little crazy. That’s why the bright colors, a little strange landscapes. They were afraid to take into the house paintings of a man who was not all right in the head. But now it does not bother anyone. By the way, the specialists estimate this canvas rather expensive and that is why not everyone can afford it.
