Shishkin’s paintings are truly impressive. The nature of our country lives its own unique life in it. It is magnificent and awe-inspiring. It is hard to imagine more heartfelt and appealing paintings. The artist created each canvas with love.
In front of us an autumn park. There is an irresistible desire to consider it in the smallest detail. Here are the delicate leaves that sway gently on the still surface of the forest river. A little further away, a bizarre driftwood protrudes from the water. On it unusually reflected typical for the colors of autumn purple. Shishkin skillfully creates a maximally peaceful and secluded picture.
The sun casts its reflections and gives us warmth. But, on the other hand, the dark forest conceals a certain mystery. The birch tree leans slightly toward the river, as if it wanted to look at its reflection.
After that, we look up at the trees and the bottomless sky. It’s brilliant and simple at the same time. We just can’t tear ourselves away from such splendor and there is an irresistible desire to admire this beauty for as long as possible.
Shishkin was able to depict all the richness of colors that nature gives autumn. Leaves of different colors strikingly bright tones. It is this riot of colors is able to give nature a romantic mood and at the same time mysterious.
The beauty of nature penetrates into our souls. Some trees have colorful leaves. Others are already standing completely naked. One tree has fallen. It is likely that the day before a hurricane raged here. Today it has been replaced by calm and quiet.
Shishkin has managed with skillfully chosen colors to convey the splendor of the season. Very soon nature will fall asleep. But now it strives to make autumn memorable in its beauty. The painting creates a very bright mood, which is not even spoiled by the dark water.

На картине “Парк в Павловске”, которую написал Иван Иванович Шишкин, торжествует золотая осенняя пора. Большинство деревьев уже окрасилось в желтый, золотистый или багряный цвета, кое-где листьев на ветках и вовсе не осталось. Эти опавшие листья начинают свое новое, осеннее путешествие по лесному ручью. Но не все деревья пожелтели и сбросили покров, на картине видны и зеленые листья, а вдалеке возвышается деревце, очень похожее на кедр. На переднем плане видим поваленное молодое деревце, некоторые другие тоже покосились в разные стороны, будто недавно здесь бушевал ураган. Мастерство Ивана Шишкина позволяет нам заглянуть в мир, который, кажется, никогда не знал, что такое человек. Ни одна живая душа, кроме таланта художника, никогда не проникала в этот заповедный уголок. Глядя на этот осенний пейзаж, понимаешь, насколько ничтожны вечные вопросы человечества по сравнению с этой природной гармонией.

Ivan Ivanovich Shishkin is a famous Russian artist specializing in landscapes. Many masterpieces are attributed to his brush, including the painting Park in Pavlovsk, created in 1889.
