A different forest, a different mood... Winter fluffy, frosty has already covered the whole earth with snow. And cover the trees with a warm blanket of snow. Winter in Russia is an incredibly beautiful time of year. Lots of snow, frosty, and all this silver-white beauty sparkles both day and night. During the day from the not-so-hot glow of the sun if it suddenly looks out from behind the clouds, and at night from the glow of the moon. But even if there is no moon, the snow is doing its job all the same - it’s bright outside even in the dead of night.

And how beautiful blizzards and blizzards are. After all if you listen attentively you can hear the magnificent song of the wind. And it sounds differently: a blizzard wind howls a little bit more piteously, but a snowstorm sounds differently, more fiercely. There is one more variety - snowstorm. And here one should listen more attentively, because it may seem that the whole world sounded with the stern howl of a snowstorm. But it does not happen often. Most often winter just quietly covers the ground with snow and gives people the opportunity to go skiing or sledding, or even skating, if there is a pond or river nearby.

Levitan again and again proved to everyone how beautiful the forest season at any time of year. He portrayed the forest in the spring, summer, fall and winter. And each time his forests were different and surprisingly beautiful. Many skeptics did not believe that it could be so beautiful in Russia. But it was! The beauty of nature has always surprised man, and it is this surprise and delight that this artist has always been able to successfully convey.

The main thing is not to cease to be surprised and do not stop drawing landscapes and make the world a more beautiful place. Your paintings are not just hanging at exhibitions or at home - they give us an aesthetic pleasure. And to see a winter forest is not always possible for those who are forever mired in urban slums.
