The artist has populated this monumental space with numerous figures engaged in various activities. A group congregates near what appears to be a raised platform or altar, their postures suggesting conversation or perhaps observation of some event taking place beyond the immediate foreground. Other individuals are scattered throughout the church, some standing alone, others interacting in smaller groups. Their attire suggests a period of relative prosperity and social distinction; elaborate fabrics and detailed ornamentation are visible on several garments.
The floor itself is patterned with geometric designs, adding another layer of visual complexity to the composition. The play of light and shadow across this surface contributes significantly to the overall sense of depth and volume.
