However, Ginkas still managed to make a surprise for Moscow theater-goers by inviting the main role to actress Elizaveta Boyarskaya, who had long mastered the roles of tragic heroines, playing them at the MDT theater, with director Lev Dodin.

The director first works with this talented actress. Ginkas and Boyarskaya were not previously acquainted, but their cooperation was successful - the performance was almost ready in just two weeks.
